Talk: Why you will fail to have a great career

About a year ago, I decided I wanted to find a new job. I had a good job with great benefits, some amazing co-workers, but I found myself enjoying the work less and less as time went on.

Yesterday, I started my first day at an absolutely amazing new company. Day 1 was a bit of a drinking water from a firehose experience, but I am excited about work for the first time in a very long time. While I don’t know where I will ultimately end up–I feel like I am heading in the right direction.

Thinking back on the past year there were hundreds of small nudges and suggestions that led me to this path. I thought I would share one and hopefully it can be of some use to you:
